THE BEGINNING
Edmond Opler Sr. and his brother Arnold found E & A Opler Inc., introducing the Our Mother’s brand to bring their cocoa creations
to market.
COOK CHOCOLATE COMPANY
Edmond Opler Sr. establishes the Chicago-based Cook Chocolate Company, which would evolve into World’s Finest Chocolate, expanding production and deepening the family’s chocolate expertise.
FUNDRAISING ROOTS
The company becomes a pioneer in fundraising when it launches the World’s Finest® Milk Chocolate with the Almond bar, marking the start of the company’s mission to help schools and groups raise money through chocolate.
A NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY
The company officially adopts the name World’s Finest Chocolate, solidifying its place as a leader in chocolate fundraising.
THIRD GENERATION LEADERSHIP
Eddie Opler becomes CEO, carrying on the Opler family tradition of chocolate-making and fundraising innovation.
EXPANDING THE FAMILY
World’s Finest Chocolate acquires Queen Anne®, the #1 cordial cherry brand, and moves production to its Chicago headquarters.
